(ADV Ride) Heading out for a ride this Sunday 20/12/20 8.00AM, not sure where we will end up, probably Warburton.
All size bikes welcome tar/Dirt, with lunch somewhere !!
Ride Leaves 8.00AM Sharp from Mc Donalds Mernda.

Bit of an Update on the Ride, we might have Ken on his  Yamaha Tracer 700 coming with us, so this will possibly be the Route Mernda, Kinglake, Toolangi, across to Narbethong, Marysville, Reefton , Warbuton, up the Acheron Way to Narbethong, across to Toolangi and back into Kinglake.
That's if he Turns up, otherwise it's on for young & Old.

What a great day out.

Alarm went off at 5.30 and I was on the road to Mernda at 6.30 with some fuel to get on the way.

Good to see Ted and his big DR, Pete and his little KTM and the rest on Boxers plus me on the Tracer - no worries - I hoped.

Started on some goat tracks with bitumin then into the bush on some not too bad dirt roads. It was really nice to be riding in the bush again, I have missed it, green shrubs, big trees and brown snot.

Ted was tail for the day and I will apologise again for holding him up a tad in the dirt, who would have thought?

Then there was the good bitumin into Marysville and the Reefton to Warburton. I have to say I was very impressed by the boxers ability on the twisties. One guy in particular with a half worn Midas rear tyre finally coaxed me into using the Tracer back tyre all the way to the edge - loved it.

Back home at 4pm after leaving the group at Warburton to allow them more challenging dirt.

Twas a long 9 1/2 hour day for Kenny with 403 ks covered, I'm still a bit tired.

Thanks Pete, Ted and the group.
