I love the Nullabor.
Most people say it's boring but you have to take your time and look around. We always took at least a week to cross.
First time in 1974, on our honeymoon, it was a mud road after the record rains that year and of course not much bitumin.
At one of our tucker stops there was a pair of aboriginal guys in the nud carrying hunting spears walking along not far off the road.
At a camp stop there was a couple in a van with a broken axle. They had a tarp rigged up to catch rain and dew into a bucket. The camp owners could not spare any water, the showers were sea water, horrible they was. They had been wating a week and were hoping the axle was on it's way from Sydney. They had sent the details on a truck and a returning truckie said the axle was being made. Remember this was before mobile phones, you had to be resoursfull and tough.
We got the Yammys off and rode the beaches, grouse, can you still do that in WA.
Theres lots of free camping and goats.
Why are you waiting till 21?
The clarity from the drone camera is amazing.
