The Tallarook Vinduro was a hoot. Recent rain meant that the ground was quite wet, but as the day dragged on, we managed to break through to some good, dry, loamy soil making for some brilliant riding. A good turnout of 50 riders for the day, all having fun punting these old girls around.

Bummer for me was that on around lap 10, I lost balance on the top of a small up-hill section and came down hard on a rock...then the PE came down on me, crushing my foot and breaking two toes! That ended my riding for the day. I managed to get back to the car and get changed, while some guys loaded my bike on the trailer,, then hi-tailed it to the hospital for x-rays and the good news!
