I arrived at the wedderburn track around 8.30am after a leisurely 280km drive. The sun was out and promised to be a great day, I wasn't disappointed. The track was the same one used in the BMCC pony express, only in reverse. The rationale being any bumps being smoother.
After the start we were straight into rutted and whooped single track (about a 1/3rd of the course and then it opened up to big bore heaven. Open paddocks with a nice wide track that consisted of endless straights and corners. Then into some relatively smooth single track before the run back to the start. The laps took around 30 mins. I gumbied around concious of my injured foot, however had a blast in the open. There were a few guns that really put on a good show in the race.
Thanks to BMCC, the landowner and everyone who contributed to make this an excellent event.
Thank you to Mick at EBT forum for the pic's around the track. He must have walked many kilometres-
