Not new to riding (road) but very new to trail riding.  Not a hellbender rider (55yo conservative rider)

Im looking at starting something easy and interested to know if other similar riders want to join.

Looking at riding Labertouche/Bunyp  area  next Sunday 1st Aug
I have no idea of where to go but ive seen videos of the trail rides and they look ok.
Thinking to start from Labertouche Unloading Car Park and ride up through Tea Tree Rd. Unless someone knows better.

Im hoping there is someone who knows where to go or if not someone/s who want to explore.

This is all on the hope we are out of lockdown Tuesday. 

Thoughts anyone?

i was going to suggest neerim sth but i cant get out on the bike this weekend

i think sections of Labertouche are gated and some closed which makes it difficult .
I am planninbg to scout it out this summer on adv bike
