Come on you responsible people - theres no racing at Abbeyard

OK kiddies it's time for school - The V1 was the first flying bomb launched by Her Hitler against London in WW2 (Thats World War number two - sorry) It was un-manned and guided by a simple gyroscope, it dived to the target when it ran out of fuel.

It was faster than the spitfires and hurricanes which made it hard to catch and shoot down. One defence developed by the braver pilots was to dive down to reach a speed that would allow them to get alongside the V1 briefly and tip the end of the V1 wing up with end of their aircraft wing thus sending it off course.

OK - back on the bikes - and NO racing.

It's just more time to be flat out!
