The pickins are getting a bit thin on the ground and it looks like I lost my pen on the second report.  But none the less here we go!

What a great weekend at Abbeyard.   Yes!, chilly in the morning but  beautiful sunshine for the rest of the day.

Phil if my mum saw those scones I would have been in a bit of trouble, according to the book they should have been 52 mm diameter rectangular scones are not acceptable. There was a impressive amount achieved over the weekend

In the early 2000's there was a threat to us by the Greens, the Parks and Dse to close all the forests and lock them up to only walkers and kangaroos. There was a lot of meetings between "stake holders", what ever they are, and myself and other club members attended various group meetings.  In the end I think it was just tooo hard and wasn't going to win votes, and it all faded away.  Though we changed a bit too. Gone were the noisy exhausts and the riding population generally got a bit more responsible.
Anyway here is the account of one of those days!
