Ah Phil, the Moonambel pub.
When Helen and I were in the gold prospecting club many of the camps were in the "Gold Triangle" and we visited the Moonambel pub a few times.
The first time about 20 of us rocked up for lunch with no warning.
Well - they fitted us all in eventually and had to get a couple of part timers in quickly and then told us they didn't have enough dinner plates.
So as soon as you finished the main course you put your hand up and the plates was washed asap for somebody else. Talk about a laugh.
We always gave them plenty of notice after that, and they always served great roast tucker.
We should get back their one day?
