Just wondering if there was any way to tell by looking at a person's posts or profile whether they are a paid up member?

The old site used to show the current membership status as part of the person's posts and profile, but I can't see that on the new website (not that it is actually new any longer).

It would be useful to know from a ride leader's perspective, as they would then know who to chase up for filling in an indemnity form. Also, it would provide a subtle 'prompt' for current members to update their own membership.

Am I overlooking something obvious perhaps?

Only paid members can post on the web site. Members are given 3 months grace to pay from the end of June and then access is cut off if they do not pay. Members can bring guests to a ride if the ride leader allows and the member should make it clear the person is a guest so they can sign an indemnity  form. There is no other way to tell apart from asking an admin, however Mat seems to be the only one able to access the admin area at present. Neither Serge or I can.

Thanks Ian!

See, there was something obvious that I was over-looking! - I mistakenly thought anyone could register and then post in the non-member area.
