Hi all, my name is David. Will just briefly introduce myself as I'm a new member to Amtra.
I'm 35 years old and have been riding motorbikes on and off for 10 years and am now the proud owner of a KTM 200 exc (2006) which I've recently purchased.
My last bike was a Husaberg TE250 which I loved and rode on tracks around Bunyip and Healesville, I had the bike for a year and a half, but unfortunately I had to sell it.  I plan to keep this one a lot longer and look forward to many great rides to come.
Previously before that I rode a Honda CBR 600F but have to admit I much prefer the challenges, tracks and scenery that confront you when riding a dirt bike!

My friend that I used to ride with has time constraints with family now and hence joining this group to be able to get out with a group if possible as I'm really looking forward to getting back into this great pastime and maybe make some new mates along the way...
I consider myself to be a moderate rider, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement but I feel that I have the basics down.
Be great to hear back from anyone who's organising a ride soon or wants to organise a day to head out! :)

Hopefully hear from you..

Cheers,
David

Hey Phil, thanks for the invite to the Marysville ride, would be really good to join you for the day... Is this the 'great divide ride' by Ian Robinson in the calendar, Sunday 13th? If so, would you able to Re. Me a few more details about the day, or do I just contact Ian for this?
Cheers Phil

Phil's Marysville ride and the Great Divide ride are 2 different events.
Phil's ride is a sanctioned AMTRA ride and the Great Divide Ride is a fundraising event run by the Maffra Sale MCC out of Cheynes Bridge between Heyfield and Licola.
