Hi Guys, the countershaft was leaking on my bike last week so i bought and fitted the entire repair kit from KTM, rode the bike on the weekend and now the shaft is leaking again. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Iv had the same problem for the last 4000 of kms Dave and Rowan rectified the problem by putting a shim behind the sprocket so it compressed the rubber ring into its collor.

Bit more info needed such as 2 or 4 stroke ?
Are you using a non OEM sprocket ?
Is the oil leak showing up on the outside of the sprocket ?

Yes the oil is running out of the inner hole of the sprocket (if that makes sense)

The bike is a two stroke, 2009 ktm 200 exc

Did the repair kit include the stop ring No 32 www.boltonmotorcycles.com/partFinder/fiche/220192 that the inner O ring runs on ?
I had a leak on my 08 200EXC and it was a scratched stop ring.
