What does one say, I feel for the ones he's left behind.

Al, your enthusiasm for the ride will be greatly missed by AMTRA.

You'll be very much missed by me, the desert will not be the same. 

Sad news indeed.  The rides and effort that he put into them will be missed.

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard condolences to Sharon Coops and all the family  thank you for the great  memories  from your rides and time together

I am absolutely devastated at the news of Al’s passing.
Al was a great mate to me over the years, and he helped me out countless times. 
He was always putting others first and nothing was too much trouble. 
Me deepest condolences to Sharon, Coop and Al’s extended family.

Ride In Peace my friend, I will miss you. 

Such sad news to hear of Al’s passing , in years gone by many Saturday’s spent up at Daylesford with Al teaching my kids to ride ( without my bad habits ) , he also helped me once or twice including towing me back to the farm when I forgot I turned my fuel off . Condolences to the family . We will all miss you mate !!

Oh dear, that is gut wrenching.
My heart goes out to Sharon & Coops.
Hopefully Al has found peace & is out there belting up some gnarly trail, crossing slippery logs, forging flowing creeks & then stopping to help every one else get through,   just like the gentleman that he was.
