On my road bike over the long weekend we went to see how far they had got with sealing the last 15kms of the Omeo to Mitta Mitta Rd. To our surprise it is now fully sealed, there is still some loose gravel on the sides, but give it time it will be perfect. 
This opens up a new section into northern Vic.
The Mitta Pub is now renovated and has very good accomodation.
