Hey jay here just wondering if anyone thinks I will have any issues with running my stock  7.5L on the high counrty ride  I'm not sure how many Ks I can get out of it as of yet as I always plan a ride that allows me to return to the ute for lunch and refueling,  I have been looking at a safari tank but i think it will totally changes the look of the bike, I'm riding 2013 yz 450f,

Depends how you ride the YZ? if you ride like you stole it then no you probaly wont make it , but if you ride like you should on a long disstance ride [ at a comfotable pass not on the note every where] you may be right. Its always best to take some fuel in a back pack keep the container as well cause if you do run dri you can milk ya mates bike or a frendily fellow rider.
Has your YZ got REC REG if not you will be unable to do HCR all bikes need some form of reg.
Good luck hope to see ya there .

It'll be between 80kms and 90kms to the fuel stop. Won't hurt putting a couple of litres in your back pack, just in case.

I get 70km max out of my YZ250 2T conservative trail riding. Lipton iced tea 1.5 litre bottles are good in your back pack.

How is Lipton iced tea going to get him to the end of the HCR? ;)

Only six months ago ken!!!

At the moment the ride is 61km to the first fuel stop then a further 82km to the supplied fuel stop but these are yet to be finalized.
