I agree with you about the Dolomites I rode there three years ago & it was fantastic!!
I have ridden in the French Alps as well & they are also sensational
Nothing in Australia even comes close

Looking out from some of the passes between France and Italy and all you see is snow capped mountains makes you feel pretty insignificant but awesome riding. Anyone keen to go next winter?
