Yeh righto, gonna be tougher then the 12hour I reckon, watched some vids read some reviews, looks hard. There estimating 40mins a lap and at race pace in sand i know for a fact thats gonna be hard.

I know you drive a piece of crap that doesn't go very fast, but I can get to ouyen in 4.5 hrs.
With taking a Friday off work and leaving a 6am I could get 5hrs of riding in, ride all day Saturday, ride 5hrs Sunday and be home by 6.30 pm so it's more than worth the drive.
How far away do you think the little desert is?
Woodside and Anglesea are good spots to ride sand and train and I'll happily go to both, I have about 9 weeks to get my fat arse into shape for this so I'm happy to go anywhere!
Luckily I'm riding Castlemaine tomorrow!!
