Hey guys, haven’t been to Abbeyard yet and was thinking of heading up there cup weekend more for a shakedown of my new 4wd, haven’t got a bike anymore.
Just trying to get a feel for what it’s like, is it gonna get rowdy over the weekend, or is it big enough for us to find a quiet corner away from the noise if there is any..?

Any insight be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Liam

Cup weekend is a social one, never too rowdy and plenty of quiet corners. Showers and toilets on site, BBQ available to use and socialising in the main shed.
The older I get, the slower I was.

After chatting with the fellars at the 50th , the plan is

leave Yarra Glen around 8.00 sat ( feul up )
brunch at Marysville
head towards Jameison via Mt Terrible
Fuel and lunch at Jamieson
head to Abbeyyard via Whitfield and Rose river rd

Sunday,  possibly ride into Myrlelford for brunch and fuel and ride few trails around Abbeyard

Mon head home via Cobler lake and Craigs Hut  then big river Rd ( or bitumen if time gets away)

Feul range 200 to 300 ( i have 500Ks so can swap some if rerquired)

Food , bring sat dinner , can buy sun dinner in Myrtleford and breaky Mon morning and the usual trail snacks ( survival food for 24Hrs ) and 3 lt water

Expecting 900 to 1000Ks total
Tube and tyre change tools

Sleep bag and matress , tent if you want , ill be snoring in the shed
It might be possible to " buy a meal and drinks" from one of the other members but nothing has been arranged
