I changed the fuel, oil, air in the tyres and all the metal screws that were as soft as plastic. Changed a lot of bars as they were also weak back then. Also levers. No bark busters. Greatest developments over the last few decades? Bark busters, disc brakes and electric start. Also better metals.

Personally i don't like modern add ons so much that you can see (taper bars, modern headlights, digital speedo's) but anything thats not visible who cares.

Hi Ken a serious question for ya did you guys have much in the way of aftermarket bits and pieces back in the day or was it all factory rider only accessible stuff .
