Another great vinduro. There was a good turnout and the weather couldn't have been better.
I saw a few fellow Amtra members who would have enjoyed these great tracks.

I'll post some pic's later.
cheers Tony

This was a good loop - not particularly difficult, but with enough tight winding stuff to keep you on your toes and the body temperature up. The tracks were mostly a grey sandy loam, with some deeper sandier sections.

Had a blast playing 'swap the leader' with a guy on an RM400 - it was interesting to see where the two bikes coped better with the differing terrain. I still had the TT set up with desert gearing, so there was a fair bit of clutch work involved when the tracks got tight.

Sadly I only managed one loop of the 65 km track - the TT600 decided to lose one of it's oil cover bolts, and was dropping oil. I didn't have anything suitable in the spares kit (needed a very long 6mm bolt), and I didn't think the guy with the other TT600 would be too pleased if I 'borrowed' one from his bike. So, back onto the trailer, and home again at lunch time.

Yes, I had a good day too!

As Pete said, lots of good sandy tracks that that area is known for.  80%+ tight, narrow trail stuff and 80%+ sand.   Chased Pat through a few sections , but spent the bulk of the day riding with Don Britt  (on his IT465) and Kerry Williams (on an Alpina).

Around 50 punters for the day.

Didn't take many photos, too busy riding!

Saw some bikes with front disk brakes which makes me wonder how rigid is the front drum brake requirement really?

The requirement is that the bike be built pre-88, so front disc brakes are allowed on certain bikes.

Thanks for the pics. looked like a good day out.

I hope Craig looks after his bike better than his hut and how big was the ship that was tied to that tree?
