Not sure what the difference is between the MX and the GT they look the same
I still remember the excitement driving home from Yarram to our farm with that little bike in the back of the ford wagon.
Till we got home to discover none of us even knew how to ride it. Had to go get the neighbor to show us

Oh yeh and good idea Yamaha putting neatral at the bottom our property was really steep you’d be riding up a hill and think I need a lower gear then weeeeeee you’re going backwards

Hodaka had an even better idea for one of their gearboxs (can't remember the model but really early)

Neutral was on the bottom, but if you pushed again you got top. Unfortunately for the engine it worked the other way as well. So from top you could lift to neutral and then again to first - BOOM!
It's just more time to be flat out!

Bloody hell that sounds devastating probably why you don’t see too many Hodakas

Take 1 - no go - phone Tim D

So I got the photo embedded - thanks Tim, but I could not edit and add text to the photo?

Thats me and my DT1 trying to teach each other tricks. You can see I've got the number plate rubber mounted, no it's not bent - not this time :) Those big tail light lenses were a tad expensive but eventually I could mono like a loose cannon.

Body armour was waiting to be invented so I just used body amore!

So back in the day, wash aways, aca "jumps" had not been invented, so we got our air time down at Moorooduc quarry.

This deserted quarry was a great play ground just down the road from Frankston, ride down - play - ride home - me and lots of others loved it.

DT1's could fly. :)
