Where does it say "no disc brakes"?

The 'rules' specify pre-85. If a 1984 (or earlier) bike had a disc brake, then that's fine. What's not fine is putting a later model front end (with a disc brake) on an earlier model bike.

Some post '85 bikes are still eligible (as listed),cause they are 'flow-on' models and have no changes from their pre-85 brothers.
