What a crack'n day. With Mark off eating Sushi I took up the offer to lead the show. Paul, Rhys, Sean and myself turned up on a beautiful sunny morning. Headed off around 9 and did the usual route through the triangle, also found some other narrows which were great. Blasted back to have a crack at telecom track which proved a challenge as there was a tree down 3/4 the way up and soil a little damp. Headed for Narby via Granton rd and into some more narrows.
Crossed the Highway into Rouches Road and played in some old stomping ground. I needed to introduce Rhys to some good old Narby red ice and found a little hill to play on.
We headed to the Narby roadhouse to refuel the KTM 250 2 banger then headed back to the cars the same way. We arrived at 4 with 95 on the clock, no injuries or bike trouble.
Tracks were in tip top condition, only greasy in a few sections.
Plenty of banter through the day and Paul even produced a packet of snakes which hadn't expired.
Cheers,
Lefty.
