As I haven't ridden since last year I thought I better throw a leg over the old YZ.
I met Graeme and Glen at the Sands road servo at 8am  and we headed off to the Forest rd unloading area.  
We kitted up, discussed the terrain and expectations, then took off up Robertsons track. A bit of rain would have been nice, however there was plenty of grip. We followed Robertsons to Quartz onto Forest rd, to Gentle Annie (erosion mounds galore). The guys seemed keen for more of a challenge so we headed north on Western track to Sisters track, Darcy track (excellent-nice incline with rocks and ruts), Phasmid and Lower Sisters. Back to Western track to Tea Tree rd, then  Tea tree track (fast and fun). Time to head back, so down Forest rd to Quartz then Robertsons track to the cars.
Approx. 3 1/2 hours, 84kms and great company.
