Well with all the talk Bob put's in for a ride before, during and after the event. A very shattered Grasshopper msg'd Thursday to say her a Johnny were laid up in bed sick and weren't going to be able to ride. So late Thursday Freddo and I (Bob) decided that we could run the ride, and so it was.
Friday arvo Wade and I headed down to Woopside to set up camp, bumping into Freddo on the way down. After dinner we headed off, but Freddo need to stop to take care of some very very important lady business
We arrived with some other already there and the fire going, and set up camp as some more people arrived.
Saturday morning Freddo and I discussed that we had no clue of the intended loop or any loop, and hatched a plan? We decided that we would just ride the tracks we love and the rest will follow and we would check at the regroups that everyone was traveling ok? So Freddo lead, and I played point man to buy him some time for directions. At each regroup we would check on the crew, and either smiles or this place is amazing was the response!! So we just played that game time we managed to find the cars for lunch.
Then there must have been free pies in woodside or something? Because the car park emptied at an amazing pace with people needing to be somewhere else? Freddo wondered what he'd done wrong with the ride. I'm just used to it on my rides.
After lunch the group had shrunk to 6 or 7 of us, so we went and played in woodsides golden tracks and had an absolute blast until daylight was no more!!! (Suckers that left earlier, the arvo was awesome!!!)
It was then pack up and goodbyes for Wade and I as we headed home.
Great day, not one crap tracks for an entire day, one small bike issues, no injuries, and a great and quick crew!!!
Thanks all that still attended and for the support on the day as Freddo and I sorted a day on the fly.
