I'm guessing 'build a bridge' might be your answer, but someone might have a trick.

I'm no Expert, and I can't change a Tyre in 10 Min or Less " BUT"  I think the Dye in the Petrol and the UV from the Sun up there in outta Space, makes the Tank go  Yellow.
And sniffing Petrol out of Your Tank whilst on a Ride couldn't Help !!!!

You can get liquid Tank liner that sets and puts a lining on the inside BUT  To late for that !!!

Found this!

THE TANKS ARE MADE OF A CERTAIN KIND A OF MIXED POLYETHELENE COMPOSITE AND ARE VERY POROUS MATERIAL WHICH IS INTENDED TO LET THE TANKS EXPAND OR CONTRACT WITH PRESSURE OR ENVIORMENT ALSO HELP THE TANK BREATHE AND WAS INTENDED TO DO SO , BUT IN THE DESIGN THE TANKS MATERIAL TENDS TO ABSORB ALL FUEL ADDITIVES OR CHEMICALS USED IN THE FUEL .. SO THE TANK WILL ABSORB THE COLORS AND "YELLOW" THEM UP IN YEARS TIME OR EARLIER DEPENDING ON VEHICLES USE OR MAINTENANCE OR STORAGE .

INTERNALLY : THERE IS REALLY NO SOLVENTS THAT CAN BE USED TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE TANK .. SORRY

EXTERNALLY : WE RECOMMEND USING "SOFT SCRUB WITH BLEACH" AND WATER ,, WEIRD BUT IT WORKS EXTERNALLY YELLOWING IS FROM SPILLAGES FROM FILLING OR OTHER ..

Two fish in a tank.

One turns to the other and says "do you know how to drive this thing?"
