Thanks Zeb.

The club (Pat) has received these new changes.  From what we can figure, there's no big deal.  It actually takes the responsibility out of Pat's hands, and into that of the RWC issuing body.

One question will be tyres.  A 'sympathetic' RWC officer should allow knobbies, but it will be interesting to see.  Might need to make a few investigations on this.

Wrong, they inform us of NO changes no matter how big or small, typical government department..

One thing to consider is that you shouldn't be surprised when you take your bike to get a RWC and they knock your tyres back and you just say its for club reg. all they have to go on is your word and most peoples word isn't worth very much these days.

My motto for RWC is id rather you bay a few hundred than me pay the $10,000++ fine for writing a dodgy RWC.

And the exact reason I haven't bothered to upgrade my license to a bike one.

My 2 cents
