YAMAHA YZ300-E After looking what 2-strokes are available in the current Enduro Market, anyone can see that the European brands are dominating, and the Japanese brands are well....non-existent! Yamaha is the only one that has stayed true to making larger capacity two strokes, and their YZ250 has had a fair few decades of refinement, making it a great piece of machinery. Therefore, I think that there is great opportunity for building a 300cc electric-start Enduro Model. With ...the capabilities of both off-road and street-legal approval, this bike could sport a wide-ratio box, as well as a variety of parts from the WR Range, such as the 18 inch rear wheel and lighting. With any luck, Yamaha might notice this and bring it into production, and who knows, a direct injection model could be around the corner!

Yep I would go for a YZ300E Pete if Yamaha made one but, only  if they kept the engine in it's mx state of tune and added a wide ratio gearbox, that would be a super fun bike. The KTM300 is as close as we get for the moment.
Tim how much was Dave's 300 kit? Worth doing?

Dunno about cost wade I'd say it'll be up around the $1000 mark, but he said it made so much better.
When I changed my 250 to the 300 it made it so much better but i cerntinally couldnt hold it wide open it the tight stuff like I did with the 250 capacity. But yes it's a much better capacity for many other reasons
