I use Facebook a little. It can be a useful thing to keep up with people and other groups.
I do not think AMTRA should have a separate Facebook page that is used instead of the web site. The committee decided against it some years ago and has also spent a lot of time and effort, not to mention a considerable amount of members funds to develop a new and much more modern web site. Members who are on Facebook can easily communicate between themselves if they wish.  

really well said Timmy and that's what I was trying to relay....
Facebook can be really good for sharing, raising awereness etc....
But in no way was I recommending Facebook be used instead of Amtra...just an extra little social thing and as it has been pointed out to me - if the web site crashes its a good way to get messgaes out quickly re ride changes / updates etc...

Anyway, good points raised I think
