The planed Licola ride didn't go ahead, one of the five of us who planed to go woke with a sore back.
It was decided the numbers were to low to do a ride in a remote area so three of us did a loop out over Tawonga Gap and into the back of Porepunkah for lunch and fuel.
Back at the property with 240ish K's for the day.

thERE was no sign of smoke , no wind just perfect weather

Thanks to all contributors at Abbeyard over the years , such a great place camping and riding, as ive not done a HCR im just appreciating
.
Sat pre ride , 3 of us went for a 40k loop to take the edge off

Saturdays main ride saw 10 riders
soom of the stats
3 x L platers
3 x 400s
2x  Robs on XRs
and 1x  Dougie on a contraption that reads the speedo off the rear wheel, this had him at 180ks over the jumps

later in the ride saw one rider have an off into a 4wd , dont think there were any major injury luckily

Met a few long time members over night back at Abbeyard

Sunday ride saw 2 groups heading for Porpunkah

Our Group with Tim D laeding  ,  Paul Ca ( ride whore/ trail pig )and Myself

As Paul is from the west , we spend some time teaching Paul about finding Nth and which directions we were heading

Paul fixed his first flat on the trail , before missing a turnoff , Tim took off after him while i made fluffy bunnys with the clouds at our turnoff. Paul  turned around when hed not recognised some sceenery and realised we should be riding Nth . He added 40ks to his and Tims ride, and we got back after 5.00
Monday i dragged my sad and soory arse home , and missed Mondays ride to Craigs hut... again!
