All, For those who may not be aware Ted is back in hospital with a recurrence of his long term cancer of his lower jaw. He is in Royal Melb, I am led to believe he is unable to talk, a pretty serious position for him to be in!!!. However he can accept text messages and expects to be there for a couple of weeks before other treatments.
A few cheerful messages would be gratefully accepted. His number is 0468 905 804

I was wondering why he wasn't on your ride Phil, it's so sad to hear this shocking news, it's times like this ya don't know what to say, I wish him all the luck in the world.

I will keep an eye on the Old Bastard when he gets back home,I usually go to Yallambie a Couple of times a week.

Had a note from Helen today, Ted has had more operations, however he seems to be in good spirits at the moment. Still unable to talk and not up to visitors, and in Helens words has colour in his face and a glint in his eyes.
He is grateful for all the texts, but she says he is not up to answering so it would probably be nice to keep them up for a while.
This fragile shell we call life, so beautiful, so sad, and so frustrating.
