I run pirelli xc , I only get 4 to 5 hundred k’s out of them cos I actually use the throttle,, I also have a ultra heavy tube Ive had since I put it in when I got the bike 3 years ago,  :D
Its all relevant to where you ride Seano and the terrain, if I get on the throttle around Dargo I can feck one in 1 ride but if I get on it around Johnnys ride no problem.
It is only when a mosquito lands on your balls that you realise there is always a way to solve problems without using violence

I always had slow leaks on UHD tubes and was always topping up tire pressures. I thought I would give the Tubliss a go as Torpedo7 had them on special for $100 each.

Since going to Tubliss;
I have dropped 1kg of rotating mass per wheel which has made the steering more responsive
My tyres don't slowly lose pressure anymore
I get heaps more traction as I can run lower tyre pressures
No more tyres delaminating on the inside
No more heavy tubes making the wheel unbalanced with rubber balls rolling around inside
and, so far, no punctures.

I fitted a new MX52F on the front and new MX51 on the rear when I fitted the Tubliss and have been very happy with both the grip and minimal wear.
Current rides:
Husky/Berg 2014 TE300
Italian Husky 2011 TE449 (couple of them)
Royal Enfield Continental GT650

I'm considering running the Tubliss system on my new toy, as I don't want to add the additional weight of UHD tubes to a bike that I am trying to make into a featherweight. At the same time, I would like better puncture resistance than what the standard tubes can offer.

Now, if I can just somehow convince the wife that I really do need to spend some more of her hard earned money....:)

That's easy.

"Hi Honey, I was thinking of buying a new, much lighter, 2-stroke bike for $13,000. However a new set of light tubliss thingys for the old bike are only $200.
I'm saving us $12,800!"

Just used a similar line to get the bike - not sure it will work a second time...

Don't mess with old bikers, they don't just look crazy. :)

My first motor bike ride at the age 13, 58 years later I'm still riding.
