Was planning on going through Bright and then head south but there will be seasonal road closures to the north end of the Dargo Road so I am looking at two routes that both enter Dargo from the South and trying to put in as much off road as possible.

Hi Rob,
I would be keen to come as well, will be on  a larger adv bike, but happy to have a crack at whats thrown up.
cheers
Paul

I dont see the bigger bike as an issue for this ride Paul so it would be great to have you along.

I'm thinking of doing a ride to Dargo and back, staying at the Dargo pub weekend of the 23 and 24 June.
Accomodation is $110 including Sat night meal and Sunday breakfast.
More info to follow

Should this be 24 and 25 June?

Good-o.

Now that the date is sorted, it's looking more likely that I'll be comming!

Good, now we have the dates sorted...
Saturday plan is for about 450 ks taking a southerly route including some twistys on the asphalt through Tarra Bulga National Park and some sandy stuff in Stradbroke/Woodside area, time permitting, before heading to Dargo , ...
Sunday head home via Walhalla.

Hey Rob,

Would an MT09 Tracer with an old fart on board have a reasonable chance on this ride?

I need a serious, honest  answer, thanks.
It's just more time to be flat out!

Hard to answer Ken but probably the Tracer not suited for this ride, going to be off asphalt as much as possible.
